1.This machine fell of the end of a man made roadway at low tide and when the tide came in it was fully submerged.

2.The machine was floated to the surface by special under water air cushions.

3.The machine was then winched onto dry land by our trusty old Foden….this was a very labour intensive job.

1.Volvo loading shovel upside down on top of a pile of road salt.

2. This job was carried out by making a platform of salt for the loading shovel to be righted onto by air cushions. Once on its wheels the only damage was a broken window.
